Race Speed Development Limited started life as a track day company aimed at Lotus Elise drivers back in November 2000, setup to help fund the Race Speed motorsport aspirations.  Since then the company split into two areas: making cars better and driving them!

Race Speed's primary business is performance parts for Lotus Elise, Exige and 340r.  We aim to offer the best products on the market - all of which are tested and used by us.  Because we are a web only organisation our overheads are very low - the result of this is we are also able to offer the best prices in the market today.

So how do we know what makes a good product?  Because we use the products in the most extreme conditions - racing.  In 2001 Team Race Speed was formed.  The objective was to get Lotus owners into competitive driving - and to get our own race team going.  The online shop here on the site helps to fund that racing team.

Lotus Original Parts

As of the 1st March 2003 Race Speed can supply the complete range of Lotus original parts for all Lotus models (regardless of age).  The complete database of 50,000 parts will be available on this date - with the ability to order online by credit card and ship anywhere in the world.

You will see a number of new performance packages from us over the next month or so, all made up from Lotus original parts.
