Why an Esprit: The finest sports/road car from Lotus it does Everything !

Upgrades: Momo 'Race Wheel, Fire extinguisher, Straight through pipes, K and N filters.

Problems: blew 2nd gear , as a biker I soon learned the renault 'box cannot handle the torque......Forget 0 to 60 times if you own the car !! Quick times are for Journos to set!!

Info: I patiently 'Dialled' myself into the handleng and 'Feel ' of this car mindful of the horror stories that are doing the rounds about V8 handling and quirkyness........I am happy to report this one of the best handling cars that I have ever driven. A very even power delivery is essential to smooth driving and staying on the black stuff ............
