Why an Esprit:
Incredible performance for the price with looks to match. And, yes .. it is a Bond car also.

Upgrades: Electric Booster Pump for the chargecooler. S4s race chip from Marcus (c 315bhp). Adjustable shocks from SJ Sportscars. N/side headlamp motor replaced. VDO Speedo and Water pump both reconditioned. New tyres front and rear. New washer motor.

Problems:
Current problems include a front caliper that occasionally sticks. I hope to have recon'd front pair of calipers fitted shortly. Still trying to get the adjustable shocks set up properly. Otherwise, the car has been excellent considering I have done almost 15,000 miles in the last 9 months. I intend to fit a cat bypass pipe and new exhaust box later this year.

The car has an interesting history. Originally UK registered, it was shipped to HK in the mid-late 90s and suffered a string of non-appreciative owners. It is now back on its original plates and seems to have benefitted from regular use.
